Runway trends come and go, but at times, these trends go beyond influencing our fashion choices. They also reflect the state of the world, evoke emotions, and encourage us to try things we might not have considered otherwise. Although there were over 10 different concepts I wanted to share with you, I ended up picking 5 of my favorites and providing insight on how to incorporate them into your life.

Transparency took on various forms this season, and one that particularly caught my attention was the use of translucent and sheer materials in skirts. I believe designers are challenging societal norms regarding what is considered socially acceptable to wear in public. They are liberating women in a direct manner by accentuating and emphasizing the female figure. While these silhouettes convey a sense of lightness and an ethereal nature to the overall aesthetic, in reality, it's not very practical. Depending on your confidence level, the way to translate this look from the runway to reality is to either wear high-waisted opaque bathing suit-style bottoms or a long tunic tucked in to discreetly cover the areas you may want to hide without compromising the look, similar to the Proenza Schouler image from above.

High-waisted trousers were everywhere! Almost every designer featured models strutting down the runway in these long, leg-extending silhouettes. This garment will immediately add several inches to your body, making you look like you have legs for days. Depending on your height, you'll either need to invest in a pair of platformed chunky heels, or if you're already tall, you can alter them to pair back with sneakers and flats for an effortless daytime look. It's important to note, if you are going to wear the paper bag waist, make sure to add a novelty belt that will help define your waistline and create a focal point. I absolutely love styling skirts over trousers to create dimension and spark conversations.

The Polo Club aesthetic extends far beyond 'The Pitch' and can be interpreted in various settings worldwide, including sports events, lunches, gatherings, and garden parties if styled correctly. "sporty elegance meets tomboy chic " is the best way to describe how this look was strutted down the runways. Ways to achieve this look include incorporating leather bombers or letterman jackets, layering cotton poplin shirts under deep V-neck cashmere sweaters, revealing socks with sneakers, striped track pants, and collecting a couple of different variations of striped shirts in various silhouettes and cuts.If you don't want to shop, then this is the perfect time to raid your boyfriend's, husband's, or brother's closets, as they most likely already own some of these key staples.

Wearing all white is no longer reserved for your wedding day..The color itself exudes a serene aura, being the purest on the spectrum. The words that immediately come to mind are modern, minimal, and ethereal. While its impracticality, notably the challenge of maintaining cleanliness, may come to mind, my perspective aligns with creating a monochromatic aesthetic akin to the versatility of black. When styling this look experiment with textures, tones, and incorporate a three-piece ensemble at the very least. If you are going to wear all white, make sure to keep a shout wipe nearby.

Short shorts dominated the runways, presenting an intimidating look for those who may not feel comfortable baring it all. Depending on your height and skin exposure comfort level, I recommend styling this look with nylon stockings, knee-high boots, and an oversized blazer for coverage or opting for a long jacket to cover your behind. Avoid wearing shorts that cut into your thighs, pairing them with crop tops, or combining fitted tops with fitted shorts. Ensure a contrast of shape and volume.
