San Francisco is a city that never fails to surprise with its diverse neighborhoods and hidden gems, and Little Italy is one of those sparkling treasures worth exploring. With Mark Chua by my side, my go-to partner in crime for capturing street style, we set out to create some editorial magic on Columbus street.

We kicked off our day at my all-time favorite spot, RÉVEILLE, where we indulged in coffee and pastries. Once we were sufficiently caffeinated and sugared up, we wandered through the charming alleyways, quaint boutiques, and colorful buildings that make Little Italy feel like a time capsule.

My vision for this outfit was to bring together a fashion-forward style that was both comfortable and easy to wear. While I usually go for silver accessories, I decided to embrace my feminine side by incorporating some stunning gold accents. This photo perfectly captures my mother's ring from Iran, which holds a special place in my heart To balance out the look, I paired the gold accents with earthy-toned clothing from Marni, Isabel Marant, and Toteme – creating a more understated and elegant effect. And to add a touch of relaxed edge, I opted for open-toe Proenza Schouler sandals instead of boots.

We didn't end up taking any photos until we stumbled upon the Sentinel Building( historical landmark) which is the home of Cafe Zoetrope, owned by none other than the legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. The cozy and nostalgic cafe, filled with movie memorabilia, was just begging for a photoshoot, and of course, we couldn't resist. With its bright red sign and vintage decor, we snapped some iconic photos that still bring a smile to my face every time I look at them. Overall, our day in Little Italy was a blast and I highly recommend visitors to make an effort to check out this neighborhood.

Here is a list of my favorite spots to visit around Colombus Street:

Cafes: Cafe Reveille , Brioche Bakery & Cafe, Cafe Trieste

Restaurants: Cotogna, Quince, Tosca Cafe, Kusakabe , Trestle Restaurant

Saloon's + Cocktail Bars: Comstock, Vesuvius Cafe, 15 Romolo, High Horse

Experiences: City Lights Books Store, Language of the Birds, The Beat Museum
