Right around mid-September, the memories of hot summer days begin to fade as I eagerly anticipate unpacking my fall and winter wardrobe, which has been carefully stored away. This transition typically starts with with embracing a warmer color palette. With that in mind, I thought it was worth sharing a selection of hues that stood out prominently on the runways for Fall 2023, as well as some items that I am loving and believe are worth investing in!
If you adhere to the "no white after Labor Day" rule, then you should consider incorporating bone. It exudes modern, minimalist, and timeless Old Celine vibes. This shade offers a clean slate amidst your darker wardrobe colors, and it looks stunning as accessories, cozy knitwear, and leather skirts or jackets. FYI, a monochromatic look is ultra-cool but not functional, so opting for two pieces in your outfits will achieve the same effect.

It's no surprise that camel, a timeless classic, continues to be one of the most popular colors. Consider layering with other earthy tones, and add depth and interest by incorporating textured accessories and metal accents. To enhance your look, introduce a pop of color, such as a red scarf or orange handbag, to establish a vibrant and attention-grabbing focal point. Additionally, experimenting with varying shades is an effective way to add dimension. Personally, I prefer to wear this tone as outerwear, accessories, or a trouser.

There's no doubt about it; red was ubiquitous on the runways in a multitude of shades, but the most common was a tomato hue. To wear it during the day without appearing too flashy, balance it with neutral tones such as creams, browns, and even greys. I love the idea of pairing it with a khaki trench coat and a blue jean ensemble. if you are not ready to embrace is as the center piece of your outfits add it as a silk scarf, handbag, belt, or yummy knitwear.

While it's typically associated with classic or bohemian aesthetics, I believe it can be elevated with the right accessories. This season, as an avid wearer of black, I am convinced! There are, of course, numerous ways to wear it, but my favorite options are as a leather jacket, suiting, handbag or knitwear. Unexpected color pairings that work well with it include camel, light blue, red, darker shades of pink.

I know this color may seem unusual, but it's undeniably chic, especially when used for outerwear, tops, or accessories. Thinking of it in the spectrum of emotions, the color yellow has the power to boost our mood, evoking feelings of sunshine and positivity—perfect for the time of year when days grow shorter and the weather colder.I love the idea of styling a monochromatic look with creams as the undertone to balance it out.
