A Journey Through Altuzarra's Vibrant SS23 Collection

During my recent visit to the Altuzarra showroom to view their SS23 collection, I felt as if I was transported to exotic distant lands. As I went through the racks of clothes, I could easily imagine wearing the pieces while staying at a Bedouin camp at the Wadi Rum or walking through the bazaars of Morocco. It was very clear that Joseph took cues from adventurous travelers and trekkers. The vibrant use of colors reminded me of the lush greenery of tropical forests and flowers of Brazil and Costa Rica. I was particularly impressed with the way Joseph played with material manipulation and dying techniques which mixed and matched patterns that felt familiar yet fresh.
