During the height of COVID, I had the honor to collaborate with Milad Jafari, one of the most brilliant photographers I know who is based in Tehran, Iran 🥀 Complicated yet invigorating, the whole experience felt like a breath of fresh air especially since it had been almost 9 months since I'd last collaborate with a creative team or another artist IRL.

After many years of scheming and sharing our love for editorial, we decided to experiment and shoot an intimate series via FaceTime. A couple of days prior to the shoot date, I spent countless hours twisting and turning my body in all sorts of strange poses trying to understand exactly how to interact and capture interesting angles with my iPad camera lens. In the look below I'm wearing two of my all-time favorite pieces from my collection; a leather dress from David Koma's Resort 2018 and Alexander McQueen heels F/W 2015.

Despite the fussy internet connection and the tripod not arriving on time, we managed to capture some beautiful shots which you wouldn't be able to tell were actually taken by propping the Ipad on a chair! While I posed, Milad on the other end shouted directions and photographed his computer screen with a professional camera.
